Welcome to Kuwae Preschool Okinawa

Kuwae Preschool is a private, non-profit organization that offers a quality half-day program in early childhood education for children between the ages of 3-5 who are dependents of U.S. Military and SOFA status civilian personnel in Okinawa, Japan. KPS is accredited by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) and is committed to serving children in a developmentally appropriate environment. Kuwae children are encouraged to come to school, make friends, and develop to their full potential.

Class Schedule

Morning class sessions are from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and afternoon from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.

Classes offered for 3-5 year old children by October 1st are held (Mon-Wed Fri) three days and (Tues & Thurs) two days per week.

Classes offered for 4-5-year-old children by October 1st are held two (Tues & Thurs) afternoons, three (Mon-Wed-Fri) morning & afternoons or five (Mon-Fri/ mornings only) days per week.

Parents can register children for the class session and class frequency that best accommodates their schedule.

Open Registration will be held May 5th for the 2012-2013 school year, 7am at Kuwae Preschool.

Registration forms will be available for downloading, and available spots will be posted near the end of April.
